Parker, Colo. – Conservative Republican Deborah Flora has earned the backing of Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly, her campaign announced this afternoon.
“Over the past two years, I have come to know Deborah and her family on a personal level, and know she is a person of courage and character. As a 30-year veteran of law enforcement, and as the chief law enforcement officer of Douglas County, I can tell you we are in the midst of a crime epidemic and law enforcement is under attack on the streets as well as at the Capitol.”
“We need a voice in Congress, and Deborah Flora not only understands the challenges facing officers, she is also an unwavering champion for those who wear the uniform. I’m proud to emphatically endorse Deborah Flora for US Congress,” stated Weekly.
